fishing program includes chasing the fish and laying the nets (during
night), collecting the nets and sorting the catch (early morning) and
leaning the nets, collecting seafood, relaxing and swimming(during the

Climbing in Plomari Lesvos

Ιn September 2015 a climbing sector was created in Lesbos for the first time. It is situated in the area ‘PanagiaKrifti’ less than 10km from Plomari, 12 km from Agios Isidoros, approximately 50km from Mitilini and less than 30km from Vatera and Agiassos, on the characteristic grey wall, between the edge that separates ‘PanagiaKrifti’ from ‘Drota’. Twenty six sport climbing routes were bolted, with a variety in difficulty, by the climber and climbing trainer certified from the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing, Kostas Mougkolias. The rock is good quality limestone and is located 200m above the sea level. The climbing walls contain horizontal edges, holes and small cracks. The routes start on the edge, which offers spectacular views of the Aegean Sea. From September until June it is possible to climb all day, however, during the warm months of July and August, climbing is recommended early in the morning or after 17:00.At the sea level, beneath the sector there are rocks, which are ideal for water solo, traverse and boulder. Best seasons for such activities are spring, summer and autumn. Pottery workshops

Workshops upon the art of pottery. The tutorials include activities relating to ceramics such as learning the various techniques needed to build the clay forms, create objects(pots, plates, cups), prepare & mix the glazes, choose colors and decorate.

Hot Springs

The vigorous volcanic activity in the wide area of North Aegean open sea has endowed Lesvos with springs of important therapeutic properties. It is not by rare chance that the one quarter of the Greece’s natural mineral resources are found on this island. Anyone travelling to Lesvos will find numerous thermal springs, which are diffused throughout the island. The major springs can be found in Therma (located in the Gulf of Gera), Polychnito, Lisvorri, Thermi, Eftalou and Argeno, and their therapeutic waters are suitable for almost all forms of therapy.
