Whether or not you’re Greek Orthodox, there’s no denying that the little churches that are scattered around every village, mountain, and island in Greece are perfect, romantic places for a wedding.. Especially in Lesvos’s countryside, many churches are set in privileged locations amidst traditional villages or green landscapes which add a rural, traditional and yet religious atmosphere to the wedding ceremony. For instance, Agios Isidoros is a good example of a holy site that lies in a gorgeous setting. This traditional chapel is located on top of a small islet in the Gulf of Gera. It can be reached only by boat, but once you are there, you are rewarded by its completely romantic location.
