Man’Katsa Waterfalls

Just 1500m from the intersection Pedi – Aspropotamos and 30 km north of Mytilini on the way to Mantamados, you come across “Lakos Mankatsa” or the Mankatsa Ditch waterfall. The waterfall is 12 meters high with a 1-1.5m deep pit.The huge dark rocks stand at a height of between 15-20m. An inspiring sight that leaves you in awe while from a distance the landscape looks so calm. In the specific area, the climbing team “Lesvos & Ecology” organizes climbing, rappel and flying fox activities. How to get there : At the 30km Mytilini-Mantamados road, before the crossroad Pedi-Aspropotamou, you will see at your left hand side a Greek sign “Λάκκος Μαν’κάτσα” . You turn left and you follow the dirt road.

After 1 km you will see a small sign that shows the way. There you leave your car. In order to cross the path, you have to open firstly, a green gate and follow the small green signs which will lead you to the waterfalls( 10 minutes).
